Accelerated recovery

Push oxygen where your body is trying to heal

We use the OxyPro Excel 2.0 ATA Hyperbaric Chamber by Oxycell, an upright seated chamber designed for comfort, combining advanced technology, safety and performance for a superior therapy experience. Inside, ambient pressure rises and pure oxygen dissolves directly into your plasma, a flood of oxygen to tissues that were never getting enough of it: soft-tissue repair, inflammation control, neuroregeneration.

Hyperbaric Chamber

What It Is

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

A hyperbaric chamber is a pressurized vessel where you breathe pure oxygen (100%) at pressures higher than normal atmospheric pressure, typically 1.5 to 3 atmospheres (ATA). At normal pressure, oxygen is carried almost exclusively by red blood cells. Under hyperbaric conditions, oxygen dissolves directly into the plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, and lymph, reaching tissues that red blood cells can't easily access.

Benefits

  • Post-op recovery
  • Chronic wound healing
  • TBI
  • Dementia

The Core Mechanism

more pressure → more oxygen dissolved into all body fluids → oxygen-rich environment at the cellular level.

Emerging & Performance Benefits

  • Neurological

    • Traumatic brain injury (TBI) recovery, accelerates repair of hypoxic tissue
    • Post-stroke rehabilitation
    • PTSD, several military studies show symptom reduction
    • Long COVID cognitive symptoms ("brain fog")
  • Cellular & recovery

    • Dramatically upregulates stem cell mobilization from bone marrow (studies show 8× increase after 20 sessions)
    • Reduces systemic inflammation (lowers NF-κB signaling)
    • Accelerates healing of soft tissue, ligaments, and bone
    • Used widely by elite athletes for injury recovery
  • Longevity signals

    • A 2020 Tel Aviv University study found HBOT lengthened telomeres by ~20% and reduced senescent cells by ~35% after 60 sessions, among the most striking results in that space, though it needs replication.
  • Antimicrobial

    • High-oxygen environments are toxic to anaerobic bacteria
    • Potentiates antibiotic effectiveness

What a Session Looks Like

  1. 01

    Before

    • No smoking, alcohol, or petroleum-based products on skin (fire risk with pure O₂)
    • Wear cotton clothing (no synthetics)
    • You may be asked to clear your sinuses, pressure changes affect ears like an airplane
  2. 02

    During

    • Pressure gradually increases over ~10–15 minutes, you'll feel it in your ears and need to equalize (yawning, swallowing, like descending on a plane)
    • Once at pressure, you breathe normally
    • Duration: typically 60–90 minutes at pressure
    • You can read, watch something, or sleep
    • Pressure is slowly released at the end
  3. 03

    After

    • Many people feel a noticeable energy boost or mental clarity immediately after
    • Some feel tired the first few sessions as the body adapts
    • Mild ear discomfort is common early on
Hormesis angle

Hormesis Angle

Like sauna, HBOT has a hormetic quality, the temporary hyperoxic (oxygen-rich) environment, followed by return to normal oxygen levels, triggers reactive oxygen species (ROS) signaling that activates antioxidant defense systems, growth factors, and repair pathways.

The stress of the oxygen shift, paradoxically, builds resilience.

7 Steps

How a hyperbaric program is designed

Hyperbaric is not a single session. It is a course of sessions, dosed to your goal, recovery, neuroprotection, post-surgical healing, or general resilience.

Clinical intake

Step 1

Clinical intake

A clinician reviews your medical history, ear health, recent injuries, surgeries and goals to confirm hyperbaric is appropriate for you.

Session plan

Step 2

Session plan

Based on your goal, recovery, neuro, post-op, performance, your clinician sets the depth, duration and total session count.

Orientation visit

Step 3

Orientation visit

A short walkthrough of the chamber, ear-clearing technique, what to wear, and what the descent and ascent feel like.

Treatment sessions

Step 4

Treatment sessions

Each session is 60 to 90 minutes inside the chamber. Most patients listen to music, watch something quiet, or simply rest.

Mid-course check

Step 5

Mid-course check

Around the midway point we check in on how you are responding, sleep, soreness, mood, focus, and adjust if needed.

Maintenance cadence

Step 6

Maintenance cadence

After the initial course, most patients move to a maintenance cadence, typically several sessions per month, that keeps the gains.

Protocol stacking

Step 7

Protocol stacking

Hyperbaric is most powerful when paired, with peptides, red light, IV recovery, training blocks. We coordinate your sessions with the rest of your protocol so each modality amplifies the next.

Why it matters

Oxygen is the limiter on almost everything

Inflammation, slow soft-tissue repair, post-surgical pain, post-concussion symptoms, neuroregeneration after injury, every one of them is bottlenecked by how much oxygen the tissue is actually receiving. Hyperbaric therapy bypasses that bottleneck by dissolving oxygen directly into plasma at pressure, and the downstream effects show up across recovery, cognition, skin and immune function. It is one of the few modalities where the physiology is unambiguous.

Your hyperbaric program comes with

Every patient in our hyperbaric program is medically cleared, oriented, and dosed to a goal, never just sold a punch card.

Supplements

Supplements

Antioxidants and anti-inflammatory micronutrients, omega-3, vitamin C, vitamin E, magnesium, that support tissue repair and complement the oxygen therapy.

Medicine

Medicine

Hyperbaric session protocol, depth, duration and total session count tailored to your goal, paired with peptides and recovery modalities where indicated.

Nutrition

Nutrition

Anti-inflammatory eating pattern with adequate protein and micronutrients to support tissue repair during your hyperbaric course.

Lifestyle

Lifestyle

Training load, sleep and recovery rhythm coordinated with your hyperbaric schedule so the therapy actually compounds rather than competes with daily life.

Quiet. You sit in the chamber, the pressure rises slowly, most people equalize their ears the way they would on an airplane descent, and then you breathe normally for 60 to 90 minutes. Many patients read, watch something, or listen to music.

Goal-dependent. A short post-surgical or post-concussion course is usually 20 to 40 sessions. A longevity / recovery cadence is typically 4 to 8 sessions per month.

When delivered by clinical staff after proper medical clearance, hyperbaric therapy has a strong safety profile. The main contraindications relate to ear health and certain lung conditions, which is what the intake screens for.

Our chambers are designed for comfort, you can see out, you can communicate with staff at any moment, and you can pause the session if you ever feel uncomfortable. Most patients who are nervous before the first session are fine by the second.

Most hyperbaric uses outside of FDA-approved indications are self-pay. The 6-month YouZone concierge program bundles monthly sessions at member pricing, alongside IV therapy and sauna.

A schedule of oxygen, dosed like medicine

The 6-month YouZone concierge program bundles five hyperbaric sessions a month with sauna, IV therapy and clinical oversight. Start with a consultation to map the cadence.
